Driving Directions to Deep South Family Bible Camp

Note: the camp is being used as a center for relief activities:

The Camp Address: 36 John Ramsey Road - Carriere', Ms. 39426 - (601) 958-8447 (This is actually at the very end of John Ramsey Road in the community of Crossroads, MS. near Bogalusa, La).

There is nobody regularly at the camp now. The phone does not work yet.

Directions: Take I-59 North to Mississippi I-59 Exit 6 (2nd Picayune, MS exit … Highway 43 North). At the end of the Exit 6 Off Ramp, turn LEFT (you are now on Hwy. 43 North). Continue on Highway 43 for approximately 19 miles to Byrd Chapel Road (on Left). You will pass the following landmarks: BP Gas Station / Grocery on Right @ 14.7 mi. / New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church on Right @ 15.5 miles / First Baptist Church of Henleyfield on Left @ 16.5 mi. / Fortenberry’s on Left @ 16.7 mi. / Baseball Field on Left @ 16.9 mi. You will come to Byrd Chapel Road (large rustic wood sign for Byrd’s Chapel United Methodist Church) on Left @ 19.1 miles. Turn Left on Byrd Chapel Road. Stay on the main dirt road to the end. At 20.4 miles Byrd Chapel Road will become John Ramsey Road. At the end of the road (20.6 miles) both gates are ours. The Deer Gate on the Right leads to the Lodge Building and parking, the gate straight ahead of you leads to the Adult housing facility.

Please continue to pray for us and all the Believers along the Gulf Coast and the Deep South. There were power outages for days as far inland as Birmingham, Al. Pray also for those trying to help ... for safey and for wisdom in what to do and how to do it .. and how best to use the few resources we have available. One critical need will be food to feed the couples at the Camp if we can get that set up and functional.
